Although we are a full-service caterer, we choose to focus our knowledge and expertise on children. We began servicing preschools and private and parochial schools in Orange County in 2001 and through the grace of client referrals, we quickly expanded to Riverside, San Bernardino & Los Angeles Counties.
The goal of providing nutritious meals for kids requires a group effort between the family, the school and Cater Tots. Good nutrition is only part of living a healthy lifestyle. In addition to providing the meals, we also have resources available such as organizations providing free materials for educators, websites with information and educational games for kids, suggested reading for families including recipes, and much more.

Children’s nutrition is the cornerstone of what we do. But what good is a nutritional meal if the food isn’t worth eating?
We all know that children’s palates are not as developed as teens or adults. We take great strides to ensure that the menus are simple yet tasty. We serve the foods you grew up on and we do it in portions that are appropriate for children and with ingredients that are healthy to create a menu that is balanced and appealing for the kids.
If it’s not kid friendly, it’s not on our menu. Kids do know what’s best!

At Cater Tots, this commitment extends beyond the ingredients, through the preparation, into the vehicles for transport. The safety and maintenance of our facility and even the relationships we build with our clients are part of our commitment to excellence in everything we do.
We have strict policies and regulations for the handling, preparation and transport of our products. In addition, we do extensive testing on new products to ensure they meet the standards of our most important clients – the kids.
